Student at The Bishop’s School · San Diego

I build software people rely on, from web apps to live products used in 117 countries. My research spans quantum computing, data science, AI coding tools and the dynamics of active networks in cells.

LeptoTrials

Helps patients with leptomeningeal cancer find clinical trials that will actually accept them. A normal registry search misses about one in five.

Note · Why it’s hard

Whether a trial takes LM patients is usually hidden in its eligibility fine print. The site reads that text for every study, and an AI-assisted review I check by hand catches the cases the rules get wrong.

Conexus

A skill exchange run by high schoolers: teach for 30 minutes, earn a credit, spend it learning from someone else. Two students started it. I built the entire product, then eventually joined the team.

Note · The signature feature

Teaching hours count as community service, so they have to be real.

At the start and end of a session, one student shows a code and the other scans it.

EXPIRES
Each code lasts 30 seconds, so a screenshot texted to a friend won’t work.
SIGNED
Codes are signed on the server and can only be scanned once.
LOCATION
Both phones have to be at the approved meeting place.

NeuroMaps

Reviews of local places written by parents of autistic kids. Instead of one “autism-friendly” badge, each review scores nine things that decide whether an outing goes well.

GraphAudit: Measuring Help and Harm in Code-Graph Retrieval

AI coding tools often use a map of how files connect to pick which code to read. Across 429 real coding tasks, the map helped, but a random map with the same shape helped almost as much. Only 3.1 points of the gain came from the real structure.

Experience

Internships and volunteering.

  1. Jun 2026 – now

    Internship

Research intern, Robertson-Anderson Lab, University of San Diego

Studying how networks of cytoskeleton proteins move and rearrange. I write the Python analysis for the lab’s experiments and am helping prepare a paper for publication.

  2. Jun – Aug 2025

    Internship

Summer intern, DigHealth Lab, UC San Diego

Built an Android racing game in Unity where you speed up by squeezing the phone harder, using the lab’s grip-force sensing from vibration and motion data.

  3. Aug 2025 – now

    Volunteering

CAD Club leader, La Jolla/Riford Library

I teach kids 3D design in Tinkercad and Onshape every week: over 200 hours and more than 1,000 students so far.
